A recent study found that parents were now choosing names for their babies based on if the domain was available. I myself would not be willing to name a child Gouda just because that domain is available. Although, on the other side of the discussion, I really would have liked it if I would have ended up with a last name a little less common. It really is difficult searching DNS time and time again for a domain name that is suitable for anything relating to me. I did however, find one that I would be very happy with. And that domain is (drum roll here)

Yes, a .US domain. As in, United States. I admit, I was really hoping to express my love for Tuvalu with these ever-popular .tv domains. But, I am content with one of the last remaining NateAnderson domains, and if I do get this name, I am sorry to every other person sharing mine or other common names of which we have DNS blues.
